Recently we have captured on film AlleyneDance company embodying a passion for dance. Their latest show is an unfiltered invitation into the sincerity of a moment. The two powerful dancers Sadé Alleyne and Kristina Alleyne performed ‘The Other Side Of Me’ at The Place theatre on this last April.
Filmed with Lumix GH5 and Leica 12-60mm at 50fps, we focused on the intimacy and complicity that is shared with audiences. ‘The Other Side of Me’ is a double bill of entertaining, raw and emotionally driven dance which takes inspiration from true life events tackling themes of incarceration, both of body and of mind. It features the acclaimed works performed by the powerhouse that are the Alleyne sisters. Check out the short VIDEO below:
