For the IAA, Irish Aviation Authority awards night, an aerial ballet with dance using our Technological Carpet was shown. After each installation, it’s always magical to see choreographed drones flying on their own.
This geometric and colour based system allows tailored drones to locate their positions on stage. The technological carpet has been designed to contain series of unique patterns. Using censors placed under the drones, they can identify each pattern through their colours. The size of the pattern relative to their positions will be taking into account to calculate their altitudes. This engineering application, refined throughout the past few years, is a marvel to behold.
