Live projections pulsing to the music was cast onto Kieran Gaffney’s dynamic drumming. Designing a visualisation of the beat created a magical experience, with the show explosive energy at its core where music itself can be seen.
Visual Drums uses live projection linked to music, leading the entire scene to vibrate and pulse to rhythm. Thanks to Shaun O’Connor and Michele Cadei, the performance’s vibrancy was translated to film. With light projection devices, it was amazing to witness how powerful they can be in translating the art onto the musician’s skin. By capturing colours and electrifying shapes, Kieran’s performance dynamic impact is enhanced.
